Post: We have Huge infrastructure and everything eg: 4 , 8 lane flyovers , ring road , volvo buses but Traffic signals not in good shape. also no one is thinking on Fuel saving while waiting on signals. my suggestion is we should have counters LCDs on every traffic signal so that person knows that its 10/90/120/180 sec remaining for signal to open. with that he can decide weather to swithoff vehicles or not. also in addition to this we can indicate something like indication users to swithoff your vehicles something kind of LCD blinkers . thats my personal experience many times i tried to swithoff my car and immediately signal goes green and its very pissing sometimes so thought this idea can be implemented that wouls be gr8.
