Public Security

The memories of serial bombs are still new, and there is a wide-spread fear that there may be more such attacks visited upon us. We will not yield to the threats of violence on innocent civilians - of this there is no doubt. Instead, we will prepare better for the threats of tomorrow, respond better to any sign of attack, and remain strong and united in our homes, offices and communities.

All time Strict Security Guards: Yes, India has to be saved from the future terrorist attacks. One way is that every indian should take initiatives to overcome attacks. We do have security person in most of the places, companies, parks, hotels/ restaurants, Railway Stations, Airports etc. After the serial bomb blast, I noticed in most of the above said places security guards started checking the person entering the premises. It is always better to safeguard the place around the clock rather than taking precautions after the serial bomb blasts / attacks.
No doubt. Govt is providing maximum possible security. But the quality of the security is a concern. Reasons can be listed as follows. 1)We follow manual checks in most of the places. Its obvious that security guards dont do proper security check due to ignorance, fatigue, stress etc. Its always better to have scientic centralised automated check in most of the places. Also its good to have multiple progressive check points so that we can catch even if they escape at one point. 2) Security personnel are to be trained in best possible way. (ie emotionally and equipped with sophisticated weapons). How can a security guard with a lathi can fight terrorist with AK47? 3) Very important buildings are to be in the scanner of RADAR. Automatic Defensive mechanism like anti-missile are to be used if there are any thereats. 4) Finally its responsibility of each individual to protect himself/herself and their surroundings by showing cautious approach.
26/11 Happenned due to poor TRAINING OF LOCAL CONSTABULARY.MARCOS od navy will not act till it got written orders. When it acted it was not trained to take on terrorists only 4 in number with nearly 200 of MARCOS. NSG could not come due to ARC plane not taking off in time. When it came it was already 3 days. This showed India in poor light. The constabulary with 303 could have easily taken down 2 terrorists at CST station with AK47 but the constabulary did not have the courage or TRAINING. They feared a CQB weapon AK 47 when their long range 303 rife could be a much better weapon. The media also feed this hype due to poor knolwedge about issues. I WISH KARNATAKA CONSTABULARY ARE TRAINED TO HANDLE AND FEEL PROUD OF THEIR WEAPONARY. Dacoits Ganshyam of UP and Veerappan have SHOWN WHAT 303 CAN DO.
