Route Numbers and Destinations

Post: All, I have visited several citizen forums, websites and other civic related forums and websites and always found one basic element missing with regards to suggestions to increase use of public transport. Our bus sign boards must have bus numbers and destinations in an alternative language (English would be most appriciated) I would love to take a bus from my home (kamanahalli) but most busses do not have destinations in english? if I were to see an empty bus with clear details on where the bus terminates and the route it follows i would certainly be tempted to use it the next time. I'm not talking about the Vajras and HOHO and Big10...the regular Blue busses! i remember travelling in the lovely red and silver BTS busses while in school and we all conneted with the BUS number "302" everyone knew where it started and where it terminated....BMTC should take up a drive to do this. The BEST busses in Mumbai are a good example of clear and readable signages.
